The Franciscan Federation is creating a new space for Franciscans to gather, share, encourage one another, and deepen their commitment to living the Gospel in the spirit of St. Francis and St. Clare.

The Franciscan Federation will launch the Piazza, a new online community designed to foster connection, collaboration, and charism across the Franciscan world, on June 16.

Hosted on the Circle platform, the Piazza will provide a welcoming gathering place where Franciscans and Franciscan-hearted people can meet, share ideas, learn from one another, and celebrate the richness of the Franciscan tradition.

Just as the piazzas of Italy have long served as places where people gather in community, this digital Piazza seeks to bring together members of the Franciscan family across geographic distances and organizational boundaries. Whether you are a vowed religious, a Secular Franciscan, a member of a Franciscan ministry, or simply someone drawn to Franciscan spirituality, the Piazza offers an opportunity to connect with others who share a common commitment to Gospel living.

The official launch of the Piazza will take place on June 16, with a special live Zoom gathering open to all interested in learning more.

Participants will have an opportunity to discover the vision behind the Piazza, explore its features, and begin building relationships with fellow members of the Franciscan community.
