Jesus gives thanks for what they have and what we have. No longer seeing it as too little, but seeing it as a gift, and becoming thankful. In turn we give the gift to others. Everyone receives and gives. The way to proceed is to be free of the tendency to focus on the lack, looking outside ourselves as a solution. We should know what we have. We give thanks for it as God’s gift. We give it to others who in turn give it to others. The result is participation in divine abundance.
