The Feast Day celebration is upon us. This Jubilee year has gone by quickly (but is not over yet). Much remains to savor as we journey to follow Francis’ example of living the Gospel of Jesus, Our Lord.  As we prepare to officially remember Francis’ passing, let us reflect on our vocation.  Let this time energize us to strive for perfect charity in our secular state and reinforce our pledge to live the Gospel in the manner of St. Francis. (OFS Rule Article 2)

800 years – quite an impact. Francis’ efforts did not end with his death. We are charged to carry on that mission. Let’s be proud about our vocation and confident in the power of sharing the joy and wonder of this message of Jesus with every person we meet.
Our Minister General has penned a thoughtful reflection on the occasion of this anniversary.  It is full of insight.  Please read and reflect on it.
