Excitement is building for the Aug. 3-7 Secular Franciscan Quinquennial in Phoenix. Nearly 600 Franciscans have registered, and there is room for more.
The 'Q' is a unique experience for Secular and other Franciscans, occurring every five years (except for this one, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic). It allows Secular Franciscans from across the U.S. and elsewhere to come together and share the Franciscan charism.
What does a university professor, a Bishop, two married couples and a married woman have in common? They are all keynote speakers at the 2022 Q, August 3 – 7, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Do you consider yourself an “Early Bird” or want to be considered one? If so, it’s time to register for the OFS-USA 20th Quinquennial Congress.
Just a day before registration begins for the 2022 Q. If you are still on the fence about deciding whether you will attend the Q, perhaps checking out the daily Schedule of Events will convince you that won’t want to miss it.
Check out our special prayer cards and join in praying for the success of the 2022 Q. These colorful cards can be downloaded, printed and shared. Find them here.
Don’t keep it a secret! The 2022 Quinquennial Congress will be a time to celebrate and renew our Franciscan calling.
Why attend a “Q”? Article 7 of the National Statutes of the Secular Franciscan Order in the United States (OFSUSA) states that the “National Fraternity shall celebrate a National Congress at least once every five years.”
