It is that time again. September 1st is World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. It marks the first day of the Season of Creation. Pope Francis recently proclaimed September 1 as a World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation as the Orthodox Church has done since 1989, to “draw from our rich spiritual heritage the reasons which feed our passion for the care of creation.”
